Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise full-fat for creaminess
  • ¼ cup finely chopped dill pickles about 2-3 pickles
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon capers chopped

Instructions
 

Chop the Pickles and Herbs

  • Finely dice dill pickles into small pieces. Chop fresh dill. Mince garlic cloves. Use garlic press if you have one. This takes 2 minutes. Small bits give perfect crunch.

Mix the Base Ingredients

  • Add mayonnaise to medium bowl. Stir in Dijon mustard. Pour in lemon juice and pickle juice. Whisk until smooth. Creamy base is ready now.

Add Flavor Boosters

  • Stir in chopped pickles, dill and garlic. Add capers if using. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Mix well. Taste and adjust seasoning. Gets better as flavors blend.
