Ingredients

Dipping Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp milk.
  • 2 tsp pickle juice.

Drain Pickles Well

  • Open jar. Pour pickles into colander. Let drain 5 mins.

Pat Dry Thoroughly

  • Use paper towels. Press pickles dry. Removes extra moisture.

Soak in Buttermilk

  • Bowl up pickles. Cover with buttermilk. Rest 10 mins.

Mix Batter Ingredients

  • Whisk flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic, Cajun, cayenne, salt, pepper.

Heat Oil Properly

  • Pot with 2 inches oil. Heat to 375°F. Test with thermometer.

Dredge Pickles First

  • Pull pickles from buttermilk. Drip off excess. Coat in batter fully.

Fry Small Batches

  • Drop 8-10 pickles in oil. Fry 3 mins till golden.

Drain on Towels

  • Scoop out with spoon. Place on paper towels. Drain oil.

  • Mix mayo, ranch mix, milk, pickle juice. Whisk smooth.

Fry Remaining Batches
