Ingredients

  • 2 cups biscuit mix like Bisquick
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  • Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease muffin tin well. This stops sticking.

Cook the Bacon

  • Fry bacon until crisp. Crumble into small bits. Pat dry with paper towels.

Mix the Dough

  • Combine biscuit mix, cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until soft dough forms.

Chop the Onions

  • Slice green onions fine. Add to dough with bacon crumbles. Mix gently.

Fill the Muffin Tin

  • Scoop dough into muffin cups. Fill each halfway full. Drizzle melted butter on top.

Bake Until Golden

  • Bake 18-20 minutes. Tops turn golden brown. Edges get crispy.

Cool and Serve

  • Let cool 5 minutes in tin. Pop out with a spoon. Serve warm!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in airtight container. Fridge up to 3 days.
  • Freeze baked bites up to 1 month. Thaw before reheating.
  • Reheat in oven at 350°F for 5-7 mins.
  • Microwave for 20 seconds, but oven is crispier.
  • Avoid soggy reheats—use foil on tray.
