Ingredients
  

  • Pasta penne or fettuccine – 250 grams
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic minced – 3 cloves
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • Milk – ½ cup
  • Parmesan cheese grated – 1 cup
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley chopped – 2 tablespoons

Instructions
 

Boil the Pasta

  • Fill a large pot with water. Add salt and bring it to a boil. Add pasta and cook until soft. Follow package instructions. Drain the pasta and set it aside. Save a little pasta water for later use.

Heat the Butter and Oil

  • Place a frying pan on medium heat. Add butter and olive oil. Let the butter melt slowly. This step adds rich flavor. Do not let the butter burn. Keep stirring gently.

Cook the Garlic

  • Add minced garlic to the pan. Cook for one minute only. Stir continuously so it does not burn. Garlic should smell nice and slightly golden. This gives a strong base flavor.

Add Cream and Milk

  • Pour in heavy cream and milk. Stir well to combine everything. Let it simmer gently. Do not boil too fast. The sauce should become smooth and slightly thick.

Add Cheese and Seasoning

  • Add grated Parmesan cheese slowly. Stir until it melts fully. Add salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Mix everything well. The sauce will become creamy and rich.

Combine Pasta with Sauce

  • Add the cooked pasta into the sauce. Toss gently until fully coated. If the sauce feels thick, add a little pasta water. This helps create a silky texture.

Garnish and Serve

  • Turn off the heat. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Serve hot in a bowl. Enjoy your creamy homemade pasta with your favorite side dish.
