Ingredients

  • 12 ounces linguine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Cook the Linguine

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until tender but firm. Drain the pasta well and save a little pasta water for the sauce later.

Sauté the Onion and Garlic

  • Heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft and fragrant. Stir in garlic and cook for one more minute without burning the garlic pieces.

Build the Bloody Mary Sauce

  • Pour tomato juice and crushed tomatoes into the skillet. Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot sauce, smoked paprika, celery salt, black pepper, salt and chili flakes. Stir everything slowly and let the sauce simmer gently.

Add the Cream

  • Reduce the heat to low before adding heavy cream carefully. Stir slowly until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth. The sauce should look rich and slightly orange with a silky texture.

Combine the Pasta

  • Add cooked linguine into the skillet with the sauce. Toss the pasta gently using tongs until every strand gets coated beautifully. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce feels too thick.

Finish With Cheese and Herbs

  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese and chopped parsley over the pasta. Toss lightly again. Serve the Gordon Ramsay Bloody Mary Linguine Recipe hot with fresh lemon wedges for extra brightness and flavor.

Notes

  • Use fresh parmesan for better flavor.
  • Add shrimp for a seafood version.
  • Crispy bacon adds smoky richness.
  • Use whole wheat linguine for extra fiber.
  • Adjust hot sauce for your spice level.
  • Fresh basil tastes great in this recipe.
  • Add spinach for extra color and nutrients.
  • Do not overcook the pasta.
