Ingredients
  

  • 500 g boneless chicken breast thin sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 6 soft flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp taco sauce

Instructions
 

Season the Chicken

  • Place chicken slices in a bowl. Add olive oil, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, pepper and lime juice. Mix everything well and let the chicken rest for about ten minutes.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about seven to eight minutes. Stir often until fully cooked and lightly golden around the edges.

Warm the Tortillas

  • Place tortillas in a dry pan for about twenty seconds per side. Keep them soft and warm. Cover with a clean towel while preparing the filling.

Prepare the Toppings

  • Wash and chop the lettuce. Dice the tomatoes and shred the cheese if needed. Place toppings into small bowls so taco assembly becomes quick and easy.

Build the Tacos

  • Add cooked chicken into each warm tortilla. Top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream and taco sauce. Fold gently and serve immediately.
