Instructions

  • 1 ripe avocado (pitted, flesh scooped out)
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 ripe banana (peeled)
  • 1 cup coconut water (or regular water)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 1 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • Juice from 1 lime (fresh squeezed)
  • 6-8 ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 tsp fresh mint leaves

Prepare the Avocado

  • Cut avocado in half. Remove pit. Scoop soft flesh into blender. It adds creaminess.

Chop the Pineapple

  • Peel pineapple. Cut into 1-inch chunks. Add 2 cups to blender. Fresh tastes best.

Add the Banana

  • Peel ripe banana. Break into pieces. Drop into blender. Boosts sweetness naturally.

Pour in Liquids

  • Add coconut water, lime juice, and yogurt. Honey goes in too. Liquids blend smooth.

Top with Ice

  • Add ice cubes last. Start blender on low. Ramp up to high speed for 1 minute.

Blend and Taste

  • Blend until silky. Taste it. Add more honey if needed. Blend 10 seconds more.

Serve Fresh

  • Pour into tall glasses. Garnish with mint or pineapple wedge. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Choose ripe avocado – gives in gently when squeezed.
  • Frozen pineapple makes it ice-cold without extra ice.
  • Blend from liquids to solids for no lumps.
  • Variation: Add spinach – turns green but tastes fruity.
  • Variation: Use mango instead of banana for twist.
  • Lime juice prevents browning and adds zing.
  • More yogurt thickens it like a milkshake.
  • Protein boost: Add scoop of vanilla protein powder.
  • Make double batch for meal prep jars.
