Ingredients

  • 2 oz Citron Vodka lemon-flavored vodka
  • 1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz blue raspberry syrup like Torani or Monin
  • White granulated sugar for the rim
  • One lemon wedge for the rim and garnish
  • 1 cup of ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the Sugar Rim

  • Run a fresh lemon wedge around the rim of your martini glass. Dip the wet rim into a saucer filled with white sugar. Rotate the glass gently to get an even, sparkly coating.

Fill the Shaker with Ice

  • Add a handful of fresh ice cubes into your cocktail shaker. Using plenty of ice is important to keep the drink very cold. A cold shaker helps the flavors blend perfectly.

Add the Liquid Ingredients

  • Pour the Citron vodka, Blue Curacao, and fresh lemon juice into the shaker. Add the simple syrup and the blue raspberry syrup. The syrups provide that signature sweet candy taste.

Shake the Mixture Vigorously

  • Secure the lid on your shaker very tightly. Shake the mixture hard for about fifteen to twenty seconds. You want the shaker to feel very cold and frosty in your hands.

Strain Into the Glass

  • Carefully strain the bright blue liquid into your sugar-rimmed glass. The fine-mesh strainer will catch any ice shards or lemon pulp. This ensures a smooth and beautiful drink.

Garnish and Enjoy

  • Place a thin lemon wheel or a twist on the edge of the glass. Serve the drink immediately while it is ice-cold. Enjoy the perfect balance of sour lemon and sweet raspberry.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemons: Always use real lemons instead of bottled juice for a much brighter flavor.
  • Make it a mocktail: Replace the vodka and curacao with lemon-lime soda and extra blue raspberry syrup.
  • Adjust the sweetness: If you like it more tart, use less simple syrup and more lemon juice.
  • Frozen version: Blend all the ingredients with two cups of ice for a blue raspberry slushie.
  • Add a spark: Drop a maraschino cherry at the bottom for a fun pop of red color.
  • Salt rim: If you prefer a Margarita style, use a mix of salt and sugar on the rim.
